Tsuchiya finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tsuchiya defeated Oihane Otaegi (San Sebastian, ESP) 8-3, then won 7-5 against Mirjam Ott (Davos, SUI). Tsuchiya went on to lose 8-1 against Hasselborg. Tsuchiya responded with a 5-4 win over Hannah Fleming (Stirling, SCO). Tsuchiya went on to lose 9-4 against Ott. Tsuchiya responded with a 8-2 win over Ursi Hegner (Uzwil, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Tsuchiya earned 7.225 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Womens Masters Basel, moving up 107 spots the World Ranking Standings into 82nd place overall with 7.650 total points. Tsuchiya ranks 39th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.225 points earned so far this season.
