Blandford finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Blandford defeated Cam Culp (Airdrie, AB) 9-3, then won 10-8 against Bryan Hill (Calgary, AB) and 8-3 against Lambden in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the McKee Homes Fall Curling Classic Championship title, Blandford earned 2.500 world rankings points along with the $4,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 50th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 29.075 total points. Blandford ranks 32nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 17.500 points earned so far this season.
