Rachel Homan (Ottawa, CAN) won 8-6 over Val Sweeting (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, held February 1 - 9, 2014 in Montreal, Quebec.

Homan finished 11-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB) 8-3, then won 9-3 against Alli Flaxey (Listowel, ON) and 9-6 against Allison Ross (Montreal, QC). Homan won 9-3 against Sarah Koltun (Whitehorse, Y/NWT), then won 10-5 against Sweeting and 10-4 against Heather Smith (Halifax, NS). Homan won 7-3 against Kesa Van Osch (Victoria, BC), then won 9-4 against Kim Dolan (Charlottetown, PEI) and 7-6 against Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK). Homan won 9-4 against Heather Strong (St. John's, NL), then won 7-3 against Andrea Kelly (Oromocto, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Scotties Tournament of Hearts Championship title, Homan earned 45.000 world rankings points, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 2nd place overall with 376.820 total points. Homan ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 151.420 points earned so far this season.
