Homan won 9-4 against Heather Strong (St. John's, NL), then won 7-3 against Andrea Kelly (Oromocto, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Scotties Tournament of Hearts Championship title, Homan earned 45.000 world rankings points, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 2nd place overall with 376.820 total points.
