Van Osch finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Van Osch defeated Marla Mallett (Cloverdale, BC) 5-4, then won 6-5 against Amy Gibson (Vancouver, BC). Van Osch went on to lose 6-5 against Dezaray Hawes (Anmore, BC). Van Osch responded with a 7-4 win over Brandi Tinkler (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
