Sigurdson went on to lose 6-2 against Pascal Hess (Zug, SUI). Sigurdson responded with a 8-5 win over Glen Toews (Dauphin, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Sigurdson earned 1.875 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Classic, moving up 78 spots the World Ranking Standings into 220th place overall with 2.625 total points.
