In their opening game, Bryden lost 7-0 to Kelly Marnoch (Carberry, MB), droppimg another game, 8-6 to Rae Kujanpaa (Dauphin, MB) where Bryden responded with a 7-4 win over Bernhard Werthemann (Berne, SUI). Bryden went on to lose 6-5 against Scott Bitz (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
