To advance to the championship game, Bitz won 5-3 over Kelly Marnoch (Carberry, MB) in the semifinals of the 2013 Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Classic in Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada; and won 7-1 over Pascal Hess (Zug, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Classic in Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Bitz finished 3-2 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bitz lost 7-0 to Justin Richter (Beausejour, MB), droppimg another game, 6-2 to Greg Todoruk (Dauphin, MB) where Bitz responded with a 6-5 win over Randy Bryden (Regina, SK). Bitz won 6-0 against Alexander Attinger (Dubendorf, SUI), then won 5-1 against Geoff Trimble (Gladstone, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Classic Championship title, Bitz earned 6.250 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 52nd place overall with 29.430 total points. Bitz ranks 43rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 16.505 points earned so far this season.
