Brent Gedak (Estevan, SK) finished 2-3 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gedak defeated Ryan Hyde (Portage la Prairie, MB) 7-6, then went on to lose 4-3 against Richard Muntain (Pinawa, MB). Gedak lost 5-4 to David Kraichy (Winnipeg, MB) where Gedak responded with a 6-5 win over Kyle Foster (Arborg, MB). Gedak went on to lose 7-4 against Glen Toews (Dauphin, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 14 of the event schedule, Gedak did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 134th to 136th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 6.850 total points. Gedak ranks 207th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.750 points earned so far this season.
