Clark finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Clark defeated Minnesota's Dale Gibbs 8-2, then went on to lose 6-4 against George. Clark responded with a 7-3 win over Minnesota's Eric Fenson. Clark won 6-3 against New York's Alex Leichter, then won 6-3 against Nina Spatola (Madison, ) in their final qualifying round match.
Clark earned 2.325 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the FSCC U.S. Open of Curling, remaining in 34th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 54.397 total points. Clark ranks 33rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 29.385 points earned so far this season.
