Minnesota's Cassie Potter finished 5-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Minnesota's Cassie Potter defeated Abigayle Lindgren (Grand Forks, ND, ND) 6-4, then won 7-1 against Maureen Stolt (St. Paul, MN) and 7-1 against Kimberly Wapola (Saint Paul, MN). Minnesota's Cassie Potter won 6-5 against Christensen, then won 8-7 against Minnesota's Courtney George in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the FSCC Early Cash, Minnesota's Cassie Potter take home 3.675 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize.
