Cory Christensen (Duluth, MN) won 6-3 over Minnesota's Cassie Potter in the Final of the FSCC Early Cash, held September 20 - 22, 2013 in Blaine, Minnesota. To advance to the championship game, Christensen won 4-2 over Ontario's Krista McCarville in the semifinals of the 2013 FSCC Early Cash in Blaine, Minnesota;

Christensen finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Christensen defeated Maureen Stolt (St. Paul, MN) 8-1, then won 9-3 against Kimberly Wapola (Saint Paul, MN). Christensen went on to lose 6-4 against Minnesota's Courtney George. Christensen lost 6-5 to Minnesota's Cassie Potter where Christensen responded with a 7-4 win over Abigayle Lindgren (Grand Forks, ND, ND) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the FSCC Early Cash Championship title, Christensen earned 5.250 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 6 of the event schedule, Christensen did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Christensen ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
