Korey Dropkin (Southborough, MA) lost 6-1 to Craig Brown (Madison, WI) in the Final of the FSCC Early Cash, held September 20 - 22, 2013 in Blaine, Minnesota. To advance to the championship game, Dropkin won 6-3 over Ethan Meyers (Duluth, MN) in the semifinals of the 2013 FSCC Early Cash in Blaine, Minnesota; and won 6-5 over Eric Fenson (Bemidji, MN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 FSCC Early Cash in Blaine, Minnesota;

Dropkin finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dropkin lost 6-4 to Minnesota's Dale Gibbs, then responded with a 4-3 win over Ryan Berg (West Fargo, ND). Dropkin won 6-5 against Ryan Lemke (Medford, WI), then won 6-4 against Real Fournier (Minneapolis, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the FSCC Early Cash, Dropkin take home 1.750 world rankings points along with the $2,056CDN prize, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 89th place overall with 10.526 total points. Dropkin ranks 55th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.750 points earned so far this season.
