Jiang finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . Jiang went on to lose 8-1 against Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO). Jiang responded with a 8-6 win over George in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Fort Wayne Summer Cash Spiel, Jiang take home 6.230 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize. Jiang gained 11.855 points improving upon their best events, though dropped 52 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 52ndplace overall with 11.855 total points. Jiang ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.230 points earned so far this season.
