Jiri Snitil (Prague, CZE) finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Snitil defeated Aku Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN) 5-3, then went on to lose 10-4 against Rasmus Stjerne (Hvidovre, DEN). Snitil lost 8-4 to Alexander Baumann (Hamburg, GER) where Snitil responded with a 7-5 win over Alexey Timofeev (Moscow, RUS). Snitil won 10-7 against Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN). Snitil went on to lose 10-6 against Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA). Snitil responded with a 8-4 win over Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED) in their final qualifying round match.

Snitil earned 6.843 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Snitil did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Snitil ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
