Ken McArdle (New Westminster, BC) lost 7-4 to Dean Joanisse (New Westminster, BC) in the Final of the Cloverdale Cash Spiel, held September 20 - 22, 2013 in Surrey, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, McArdle won 5-4 over Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) in the semifinals of the 2013 Cloverdale Cash Spiel in Surrey, British Columbia; and won 7-3 over Mel Steffin (Surrey, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Cloverdale Cash Spiel in Surrey, British Columbia;

McArdle finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McArdle defeated Richard Brower (Vancouver, BC) 6-5, then won 6-4 against Randie Shen (Taiwan, TPE) and 7-6 against Chris Baier (Victoria, BC). McArdle went on to lose 7-5 against Pierce. McArdle lost 0-0 to Pierce in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Cloverdale Cash Spiel, McArdle take home 4.445 world rankings points along with the $1,650CDN prize, moving up 146 spots the World Ranking Standings into 135th place overall with 4.845 total points. McArdle ranks 37th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.445 points earned so far this season.
