Morris went on to lose 7-5 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). Morris lost 8-6 to Jacobs where Morris responded with a 7-6 win over John Epping (Toronto, ON). Morris went on to lose 7-6 against Martin in their final qualifying round match.
