Bryden finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bryden defeated Bernhard Werthemann (Berne, SUI) 5-3, then won 8-2 against Richard Daneault (Winnipeg, MB). Bryden went on to lose 8-6 against Oskar Eriksson (Lit, SWE). Bryden responded with a 8-3 win over Dennis Bohn (Winnipeg, MB). Bryden won 6-2 against Werthemann in their final qualifying round match.
 
Bryden earned 3.825 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Whites Drug Store Classic, remaining in 36th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 43.725 total points. Bryden ranks 51st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.825 points earned so far this season.
