Amy Nixon (Calgary, AB) won 4-2 over Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Spruce Grove Cashspiel, held November 22 - 24, 2013 at the Spruce Grove Curling Club in Spruce Grove, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Nixon won 10-4 over Holly Whyte (Grande Prairie, AB) in the semifinals of the 2013 Spruce Grove Cashspiel in Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada; and won 5-4 over EunJung Kim (GyeongBuk, KOR) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Spruce Grove Cashspiel in Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada;

Nixon finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nixon lost 5-4 to Whyte, then responded with a 8-3 win over Taylore Theroux (Edmonton, AB). Nixon won 7-4 against Chana Martineau (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Spruce Grove Cashspiel Championship title, Nixon earned 5.200 world rankings points along with the $2,700CDN first prize cheque, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 48th place overall with 25.643 total points. Nixon ranks 51st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.990 points earned so far this season.
