Philippe Lemay (Trois-Rivieres, PQ) lost 5-3 to Martin Ferland (Quebec, PQ) in the Final of the Vic Open, held December 13 - 15, 2013 at the Victoria Curling Club in Quebec, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Lemay won 6-5 over Jean-Michel Menard (Gatineau, PQ) in the semifinals of the 2013 Vic Open in Quebec, Quebec, Canada; and won 5-4 over Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Vic Open in Quebec, Quebec, Canada;
 
Lemay finished 2-2 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lemay lost 5-4 to Daniel Caron (Montreal, PQ), then responded with a 6-5 win over Robert Desjardins (Saguenay, PQ). Lemay went on to lose 4-3 against Liu. Lemay responded with a 7-1 win over Denis Lachance (Quebec, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Vic Open, Lemay take home 3.745 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize, moving up 12 spots the World Ranking Standings into 88th place overall with 17.000 total points.
