Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) qualified for the 2013 Direct Horizontal Drilling Fall Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-2 against Brock Virtue (Regina, SK).

Pierce finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pierce defeated Fengchun Wang (Harbin, CHN) 8-4, then won 8-1 against Ted Appelman (Edmonton, AB). Pierce went on to lose 8-2 against Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB). Pierce lost 7-4 to William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB) where Pierce responded with a 6-2 win over Dean Ross (Edmonton, AB). Pierce won 4-3 against Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Pierce earned 5.175 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Direct Horizontal Drilling Fall Classic, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 36th place overall with 38.064 total points. Pierce ranks 44th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.350 points earned so far this season.
