Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) won 7-3 over Michele Jaggi (Bern, SUI) in the Final of the Colonial Square Ladies Classic, held November 15 - 18, 2013 at the Nutana Curling Club in Saskatoon, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Jones won 7-3 over Renee Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB) in the semifinals of the 2013 Colonial Square Ladies Classic in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 6-4 over Valerie Sweeting (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals.
Jones finished 4-2 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated Allison Flaxey (Listowel, ON) 4-2, then went on to lose 7-6 against Sonnenberg. Jones responded with a 7-1 win over Mandy Selzer (Balgonie, SK). Jones won 6-1 against Penny Barker (Regina, SK). Jones went on to lose 7-6 against Flaxey. Jones responded with a 5-4 win over Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Colonial Square Ladies Classic Championship title, Jones earned 40.000 world rankings points along with the $13,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 1st place overall with 327.800 total points. Jones ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 125.000 points earned so far this season.
