Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) qualified for the 2013 Cactus Pheasant Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-4 against Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI).

Koe finished 5-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Brian Ness (Brooks, AB) 7-1, then went on to lose 7-1 against Rob Fowler (Brandon, MB). Koe responded with a 8-3 win over Brady Clark (Lynnwood, WA). Koe went on to lose 8-7 against Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). Koe responded with a 5-4 win over Chang-Min Kim (Uiseong, KOR). Koe won 6-3 against David Murdoch (Stirling, SCO), then won 5-2 against Andrew Bilesky (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Koe earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Cactus Pheasant Classic, remaining in 4th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 313.600 total points. Koe ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 95.600 points earned so far this season.
