Martin finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin defeated Lloyd Hill (Calgary, AB) 6-2, then went on to lose 7-2 against Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN). Martin lost 5-3 to Robert Schlender (Airdrie, AB) where Martin responded with a 7-4 win over Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC). Martin won 7-2 against Brady Clark (Lynnwood, WA), then won 11-5 against Schlender in their final qualifying round match.

Martin earned 20.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Cactus Pheasant Classic, remaining in 8th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 215.213 total points. Martin ranks 6th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 91.600 points earned so far this season.
