Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) qualified for the 2013 Cactus Pheasant Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-1 against Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). of the 2013 Cactus Pheasant Classic in Brooks, Alberta;

Edin finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin defeated Albert Gerdung (Brooks, AB) 7-2, then won 7-6 against Sweden's Oskar Eriksson. Edin went on to lose 5-3 against Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK). Edin responded with a 5-2 win over Andrew Bilesky (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Edin earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Cactus Pheasant Classic, remaining in 6th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 254.650 total points. Edin ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 50.150 points earned so far this season.
