In their opening game, Jukich defeated Wesley Seeger (San Francisco, CA) 14-2, then won 8-2 against Ryan Flippo (Fairbanks, AK). Jukich went on to lose 8-4 against Kelby Smith (Bismarck, ND). Jukich lost 12-6 to Fred Maxie (Scottsdale, AZ) where Jukich responded with a 8-5 win over Sean Murray (Watertown, WI). Jukich won 9-3 against Dennis Mellerup (Plainfield, NJ). Jukich went on to lose 4-3 against Greg Wilson (Chicago, IL). Jukich lost 8-3 to Lyle Sieg (Seattle, WA). Jukich lost 11-4 to Derek Surka (New Haven, CT) in their final qualifying round match.
