Edin won 7-1 against Johan Ceder (Falu, SWE), then won 9-5 against Sweden's Marcus Hasselborg and 12-1 against Fredrik Nyman (Harnosand, SWE). Edin won 6-0 against Nils Carlsen (Sundsvall, SWE). Edin went on to lose 9-6 against Sweden's Oskar Eriksson. Edin lost 7-3 to Gustav Eskilsson (Skelleftea, SWE) where Edin responded with a 7-3 win over Jon Melin (Skelleftea, SWE). Edin won 8-2 against Sven Olsson (Svegs, SWE), then won 8-5 against Lars Goethberg (Malung, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.
