Brewster won 5-4 against David Edwards (Aberdeen, SCO), then won 8-4 against Glen Muirhead (Perth, SCO) and 8-7 against Warwick Smith (Perth, SCO). Brewster won 4-3 against Hammy McMillan (Forfar, SCO). Brewster went on to lose 7-4 against Gray. Brewster responded with a 5-2 win over Kyle Smith (Perth, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Co-operative Funeralcare Scottish Men's Championship title, Brewster earned 9.360 world rankings points, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 12th place overall with 158.192 total points. Brewster ranks 26th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 44.897 points earned so far this season.
