Minnesota's Miranda Solem won 7-6 over Minnesota's Cory Christensen in the Final of the USA Junior Womens Championship, held January 26 - February 2, 2013 in Wayland, Massachusetts.

Minnesota's Miranda Solem finished 7-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Minnesota's Miranda Solem defeated Michigan's Alexis Schroeder 9-2, then won 11-3 against Washington's Shelby Sweet and 12-2 against Alaska's Kaitlin Fowler. Minnesota's Miranda Solem won 8-2 against North Dakota's Emily Brekke, then won 10-4 against Pennsylvania's Sarah Anderson. Minnesota's Miranda Solem went on to lose 6-5 against North Dakota's Abigayle Lindgren. Minnesota's Miranda Solem responded with a 9-3 win over New York's Hannah Ely. Minnesota's Miranda Solem won 11-6 against Wisconsin's Jenna Haag. Minnesota's Miranda Solem went on to lose 7-2 against Minnesota's Cory Christensen in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the USA Junior Womens Championship Championship title, Minnesota's Miranda Solem earned 8.000 world rankings points. For week 25 of the event schedule, Minnesota's Miranda Solem did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
