George won 9-3 against Greg Persinger (Fairbanks, AK), then won 8-5 against Todd Birr (Mankato, MN) and 8-1 against Ryan Lemke (Medford, WI). George won 9-2 against Mike Farbelow (Minneapolis, MN), then won 7-5 against Heath McCormick (New York, NY) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the USA National Championships, George take home 8.750 world rankings points, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 34th place overall with 55.437 total points.
