In their opening game, Stewart defeated Scott MacDonald Ducharme (Belvedere, PQ) 10-3, then won 9-7 against Gregory Bornais (Laviolette, PQ). Stewart went on to lose 6-4 against Felix Asselin (Glenmore, PQ). Stewart responded with a 8-7 win over Alex Robichaud (Glenmore, PQ). Stewart won 8-5 against Alex Hall (Montreal, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.
