Todd Birr (Mankato, MN) finished 3-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Birr defeated Matt Mielke (Medford, MA) 4-2, then won 8-7 against Jeremy Roe (Rio, WI). Birr went on to lose 7-4 against Greg Persinger (Fairbanks, AK). Birr lost 8-3 to Ryan Lemke (Medford, WI) where Birr responded with a 7-6 win over Owen Sampson (Edmore, ND) in their final qualifying round match.
