In their opening game, Morrissey lost 9-3 to Chrissy Cadorin (Thornhill, ON), then responded with a 10-6 win over Angie Melaney (Lindsay, ON). Morrissey went on to lose 5-4 against Hailey Armstrong (Ottawa, ON). Morrissey responded with a 9-7 win over Jaimee Gardner (Hamilton, ON). Morrissey went on to lose 7-6 against Cassandra Lewin (Carp, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Morrissey earned 1.564 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, dropping 4 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 123rd place overall with 25.737 total points. Morrissey ranks 157th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.419 points earned so far this season.
