Duncan responded with a 10-5 win over Cassandra Lewin (Carp, ON). Duncan went on to lose 4-3 against Cadorin in their final qualifying round match.

Duncan earned 2.347 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, dropping 3 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 52nd place overall with 105.763 total points. Duncan ranks 52nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 50.660 points earned so far this season.
