In their opening game, Beavis defeated Tyler Drews (Winnipeg, MB) 5-4, then went on to lose 7-4 against Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB). Beavis lost 8-1 to Steve Irwin (Winnipeg, MB) where Beavis responded with a 7-4 win over Kyle Foster (Arborg, MB). Beavis won 8-4 against Bryce J. McEwen (Winnipeg, MB), then won 6-5 against Kelly Lauber (Winnipeg, MB). Beavis went on to lose 5-3 against Randy Dutiaume (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
