Middaugh won 5-4 against Yilun Jiang (Harbin, CHN), then won 7-3 against Angelina Jensen (Hvidovre, DEN) and 7-3 against Sweden's Jonna McManus in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Yi Chun Ladies International Championship title, Middaugh earned 11.250 world rankings points, dropping 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 3rd place overall with 226.660 total points. Middaugh ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 89.085 points earned so far this season.
