Mirjam Ott (Davos, SUI) won 7-3 over Michele Jaeggi (Bern, SUI) in the Final of the EM Trials, held October 17 - 21, 2012 in Biel, Switzerland. To advance to the championship game, Ott won 7-5 over Michele Jaeggi (Bern, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2013 EM Trials in Biel, Switzerland;
 
Ott finished 3-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ott defeated Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) 8-2, then went on to lose 8-4 against Jaeggi. Ott lost 5-4 to Tirinzoni. Ott lost 8-6 to Jaeggi where Ott responded with a 11-4 win over Tirinzoni. Ott won 7-4 against Jaeggi in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the EM Trials Championship title, Ott earned 0.000 world rankings points. For week 10 of the event schedule, Ott did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 7th place on the World Ranking Standings with 154.485 total points. Ott ranks 16th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 25.830 points earned so far this season.
