Adrian Meikle (Hawarden, WAL) finished 2-3 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Meikle lost
9-6 to Scotland's David Hay, then responded with a 8-1 win over Scotland's Alan Hannah. Meikle went on to lose 6-1 against Hammy McMillan (Stranraer, SCO). Meikle lost 9-4 to Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO) where Meikle responded with a 6-4 win over England's Keith Wilson in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 16 of the event schedule, Meikle did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Meikle ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
