Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) lost 6-5 to Joe Frans (Bradford, ON) in the Final of the Harriston Cash Spiel, held March 9 - 10, 2013 in Harriston, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Ferris won 5-3 over Mark Kean (Toronto, ON) in the semifinals of the 2013 Harriston Cash Spiel in Harriston, Ontario; and won 8-3 over Jake Higgs (Harriston, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Harriston Cash Spiel in Harriston, Ontario;

Ferris finished 2-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ferris defeated Mike Aprile (Listowel, ON) 7-3, then won 5-4 against Bryan Cochrane (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Harriston Cash Spiel, Ferris take home 4.235 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN prize, moving up 21 spots the World Ranking Standings into 103rd place overall with 15.961 total points.
