Holly Whyte (Edmonton, AB) finished 1-3 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Whyte lost 6-4 to Jon Rennie (Calgary, AB), droppimg another game, 8-4 to Lowell Peterman (Red Deer, AB) where Whyte responded with a 8-3 win over Parker Konschuh (Edmonton, AB). Whyte went on to lose 5-3 against Alberta's Robert Schlender in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 10 of the event schedule, Whyte did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Whyte ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
