Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) qualified for the 2013 Victoria Curling Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-5 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE).

Martin finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin defeated Aku Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN) 6-2, then went on to lose 5-3 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). Martin responded with a 6-1 win over Jim Cotter (Kelowna/Vernon, BC). Martin won 6-5 against Thomas Ulsrud (oslo, NOR). Martin went on to lose 7-3 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). Martin responded with a 4-3 win over Sweden's Oskar Eriksson. Martin won 8-3 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Martin earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Victoria Curling Classic, remaining in 4th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 1 after improving upon their best so far this season. Martin ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 159.500 points earned so far this season.
