Pete Fenson (Bemidji, MN) lost 6-4 to Al Hackner (Thunder Bay , NONT) in the Final of the Bernick's Miller Lite Open, held October 26 - 28, 2012 in Bemidji, Minnesota. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Fenson won 5-4 over John Shuster (Duluth, MN) to advance to the championship game. of the 2012 Bernick's Miller Lite Open in Bemidji, Minnesota;

Fenson finished 5-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fenson defeated Minnesota's Kris Perkovich 8-1, then won 8-3 against Mark Haluptzok (Bemidji, MN) and 9-4 against Minnesota's Eric Fenson. Fenson won 5-3 against Minnesota's Ethan Meyers, then won 5-0 against Dale Gibbs (St Paul, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Bernick's Miller Lite Open, Fenson take home 2.450 world rankings points along with the $2,996CDN prize. For week 11 of the event schedule, Fenson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Fenson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
