Dumontelle won 11-7 against Mike Jakubo (Copper Cliff, NONT). Dumontelle went on to lose 7-4 against Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Dumontelle responded with a 8-4 win over Jordan Chandler (North Bay, NONT). Dumontelle went on to lose 8-2 against Jeff Currie (Thunder Bay, NONT). Dumontelle lost 7-3 to Bryan Burgess (Thunder Bay, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
