Philippe Lemay (Trois-Rivieres, PQ) lost 6-5 to Jean-Michel Menard (Quebec, PQ) in the Final of the Quebec Tankard, held January 21 - 27, 2013 in Victoriaville, Quebec.

Lemay finished 7-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lemay defeated William Dion (Drummondville, PQ) 7-2, then won 6-5 against Guy Hemmings (Montreal, PQ) and 10-2 against Nicolas Marceau (Quebec, PQ). Lemay won 5-4 against Jean-Francois Royer (Montreal, PQ), then won 7-2 against Pierre Gervais (Trois-Rivieres, PQ). Lemay went on to lose 6-5 against Menard. Lemay responded with a 9-8 win over Martin Ferland (Quebec, PQ). Lemay won 7-3 against Steeve Gagnon (Rosemere, PQ). Lemay went on to lose 8-7 against Robert Desjardins (Chicoutimi, PQ) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Quebec Tankard, Lemay take home 4.750 world rankings points, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 72nd place overall with 25.215 total points. Lemay ranks 85th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.625 points earned so far this season.
