Arsenault won 8-5 against Theresa Breen (Halifax, NS). Arsenault went on to lose 5-3 against Heather Smith (Halifax, NS). Arsenault responded with a 9-1 win over Nix. Arsenault won 9-3 against Mary Mattatall (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Nova Scotia Scotties Championship title, Arsenault earned 4.000 world rankings points, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 55th place overall with 24.788 total points.
