To advance to the championship game, Strong won 10-5 over Stacie Curtis (St. John's, NL) in the semifinals of the 2013 Newfoundland & Labrador Scotties in St. Johns, Newfoundland / Labrador;

Strong finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Strong defeated Laura Phillips (St. John's, NL) 8-4, then went on to lose 9-5 against Curtis. Strong responded with a 8-4 win over Beth Hamilton (St. John's, NL). Strong won 9-5 against Shelley Nichols (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Newfoundland & Labrador Scotties, Strong take home 2.500 world rankings points, moving up 3 spots the World Ranking Standings into 53rd place overall with 24.388 total points. Strong ranks 47th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 13.975 points earned so far this season.
