Anna Sidorova (Moscow, RUS) finished 7-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sidorova defeated Germany's Andrea Schoepp 7-3, then won 9-3 against Mirjam Ott (Bern, SUI) and 8-2 against Denmark's Lene Nielsen. Sidorova went on to lose 12-2 against Sweden's Margaretha Sigfridsson. Sidorova responded with a 12-7 win over Italy's Diana Gaspari. Sidorova won 8-4 against Finland's Anne Malmi, then won 8-3 against Hungary's Ildiko Szekeres and 12-7 against Czech Republic's Linda Klimova. Sidorova went on to lose 6-5 against Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Le Gruyere European Curling Championships Championship title, Sidorova earned 45.000 world rankings points. For week 18 of the event schedule, Sidorova did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sidorova ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
