Tom Brewster (Aberdeen, SCO) finished 4-5 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brewster lost 6-5 to Czech Republic's Jiri Snitil, then responded with a 7-2 win over Andreas Lang (Fuessen, GER). Brewster went on to lose 8-5 against Andrey Drozdov (Moscow, RUS). Brewster lost 9-1 to Denmark's Rasmus Stjerne where Brewster responded with a 7-6 win over Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR). Brewster went on to lose 7-2 against Switzerland's Sven Michel. Brewster responded with a 9-7 win over Thomas Dufour (Chamonix, FRA). Brewster went on to lose 7-6 against Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE). Brewster responded with a 6-5 win over Hungary's Gyeorgy Nagy in their final qualifying round match.

Brewster earned 8.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Brewster did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Brewster ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
