Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN) finished 9-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wang defeated Australia's Kim Forge 11-2, then won 10-2 against Bridget Becker (Naseby, NZ) and 7-6 against Eun Jung Kim ( Gyeongbuk Uiseong,, KOR). Wang won 12-3 against Olga Ten (Almaty, KAZ), then won 8-2 against Satsuki Fujisawa (Nagano, JPN) and 10-3 against Australia's Kim Forge. Wang won 10-2 against Becker. Wang went on to lose 8-6 against Kim. Wang responded with a 11-3 win over Ten. Wang won 8-6 against Fujisawa in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships Championship title, Wang earned 11.250 world rankings points, remaining in 20th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 92.450 total points. Wang ranks 23rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 30.125 points earned so far this season.
