Dunstone finished 7-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunstone defeated Daniel Murray (Yellowknife, NT) 12-0, then went on to lose 7-4 against Adam Boland (Gander, NL). Dunstone responded with a 10-4 win over Zach Warkentin (Thunder Bay, NONT). Dunstone won 8-2 against Felix Asselin (Montreal, PQ). Dunstone went on to lose 4-3 against Thompson. Dunstone responded with a 10-5 win over Josh Barry (Fredericton, NB). Dunstone won 8-7 against Tyler Klymchuk (Langley, BC), then won 8-6 against Aaron Squires (St. Thomas, ON). Dunstone went on to lose 8-3 against Scoffin. Dunstone responded with a 6-5 win over Brady Scharback (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the M&M Meat Shops Junior Curling Championship Championship title, Dunstone earned 8.000 world rankings points, moving up 178 spots the World Ranking Standings into 139th place overall with 9.000 total points. Dunstone ranks 105th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.000 points earned so far this season.
