Drozdov lost 8-6 to Rasmus Stjerne (Hvidovre, DEN). Drozdov lost 6-3 to Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN) where Drozdov responded with a 7-6 win over Aku Kauste (Vantaa, FIN). Drozdov went on to lose 6-4 against David Murdoch (Aberdeen, SCO). Drozdov lost 8-5 to Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, CAN) where Drozdov responded with a 6-5 win over Yusuke Morozumi (Kariuzawa, JPN). Drozdov won 7-5 against Brady Clark (Seattle, USA). Drozdov went on to lose 11-3 against Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Drozdov earned 6.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 34 of the event schedule, Drozdov did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Drozdov ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
